Told you guys about Nokia picking up Sharman Joshi and Adah Sharma to promote their music and touch screen phones. Initially it was communicated that, they would be promoting Nokia’s new X Series phone the X6 but it seems that, I was wrong. The Nokia 5233 ad below shows Sharman Joshi and Adah Sharma together and Sharman keeps changing the song for every new dress Adah comes out wearing.

Nokia has filed a patent with the US patents office for a cell phone that re-charges it self. The phone will convert energy from the owner’s motion top charge itself. The phone’s radio transmitter circuit and battery will sit on a sturdy frame. The frame can move along sides and in up and down direction with the help of rails fitted inside the phone. The rails will have piezoelectric crystals that would generate current when compressed and the motion generates electricity. Indeed a very innovative patent from Nokia but need to see in how much time this phone reaches the market. If it does, I am sure its going to cost a bomb..at least during its initial period of launch.

Seems that the success of Three Idiots is paying off for Sharman Joshi. The actor has landed up with big endorsement deals from two big wigs in the mobile space, AirTel and Nokia. He was recently signed up as the brand ambassador of AirTel and Nokia has roped him and another not so well known actress, Adah Sharma to promote its X Series range of mobile phones. This is not the first time that Nokia has tied up with Bollywood to promote its mobile phones. While they have a permanent brand ambassador in Shahrukh Khan, Priyanka Chopra promoted the Supernova range from Nokia. Nokia will be developing an advertisement to promote its X Series range of handsets along with Sharman Joshi and Adah Sharma. [Via]
