Most of these components and their supplier names have been in the news from long time but one supplier, which is of interest is OmniVision. OmniVision is going to supply 3.2 mega pixel CIS module to Apple for the new iPhone. So Apple’s trusted and popular multi-touch phone is going to shed its age-old 2 mega pixel snapper. According to Digitimes, these suppliers will start shipping in May 2009 with first batch around 5 million units.
