Finally after almost a year, first Android based phone has been launched in India. This is not the G1 but HTC Magic, which will be sold by HTC on AirtTel. Cellpassion is there at the launch event being held in Delhi. The phone will only be available to AirTel subscribers. The Magic carries a steep price of Rs 29,900 in which the subscriber will get 100 MB of free data for a period of six months. HTC Magic will be available with all AirTel Stores and authorized HTC Resellers in Delhi, Mumbai, Bangalore, Chennai, Hyderabad, Kolkata, Pune, Ahmedabad, Chandigarh, Jaipur, Coimbatore, Cochin, Ludhiana, Jalandhar, Lucknow, Bhubaneswar, Patna. Nokia 5530 XpressMusic is the third touch screen phone from Nokia running on Symbian S60 5th Edition and second touch screen phone in its XpressMusic range of music phones. The first, Nokia 5800 has done pretty well since launch and 5530 bring the touch screen technology to masses, thanks to its price tag of INR 13,000. The phone is not that advanced as co pared to the Nokia 5800 but some of its features like the contacts scroll option on home screen and hardware changes would appeal to a lot of people.
