This Ascent Ti is made of carbon fiber, so you can imagine the cost of this phone. Carbon fiber is known for its strength, resistance, light weight and not to forget price. Vertu Ascent Ti made of Carbon Fiber can be a great show off for some of high-end premium mobile phone buyers out there. The phone is handcrafted in UK, where the only Vertu set-up of Nokia lies and made of carbon fiber and resin. The phone is available in Ascent Ti Carbon Fiber Limited Edition, Carbon Fiber Grip, Carbon Fiber & Copper Grip, and Carbon Fiber & Aluminum Grip. Like all the premium phones, features do not matter here as you are paying for the looks and the kind of materials that are used, so forget the features. And, if you are thinking about the price of this phone then it is only available upon request..so forget about it.

Kevin from CrackBerry just posted a hands-on video with an early version of Verizon’s forthcoming BlackBerry Storm 9550 - aka Storm 2. That SurePress clickable screen is still there, but Kev says it’s much better than the first iteration. This early model runs more or less the same software as the current Storm, but has more memory and the overall hardware is “much nicer,” as well. There are lags and kinks and bugs to be ironed out before launch, for sure, but maybe there’s still hope for an all-touch BlackBerry that’s actually usable. Read the rest of this entry »
