As you all are aware that DoT will soon be coming down hard on phones that do not have or have a false IMEI number. You should make sure that the unbranded and Chinese phones that you buy, have valid IMEI numbers so that you and your phones remain out of trouble. Few months back, DoT had announced that Chinese and other un-branded phones that do not have an IMEI number or have a false IMEI number will be blocked (users won’t be able to make calls through these phones). There are approximately 30 million mobile phones in India that have this IMEI problem and were supposed to get hacked by DoT. This is how you make sure that your phone has valid IMEI number, if not then follow the steps below and save your handset from getting hacked.

Well, I’m not a big fan of the plastic panel on the front… or it is real brushed metal? Wait, no… it’s plastic… right? I’m kinda wishing the entire casing was made of metal, but the phone feels pretty decent anyhow. Is it $229-on-contract decent? We’ll see.
