If you are the nerdy or geeky types and like to explore you gadgets in much more detail than normal human beings do then you are going to love this new tool from Nokia called Nokia Diagnostics. The tool is not that high-end but it will certainly help you in trouble shooting common problems like configuring connectivity whether it is Wi-Fi or GPRS/EDGE, loudspeaker problems, earpiece problems, battery related problems etc. Its a great tool to have on your phone but sadly, as of now, ist only available for Symbian S60 5th Edition phones and S60 3rd Edition support is expected soon.

Prepaid and PostPaid, Voice and Data

Boost Mobile’s launch of their first-ever smartphone, the BlackBerry Curve 8330, and its $60/month unlimited, prepaid voice & data plan, got me to thinking about the true cost  of owning and maintaining various smartphones on the various US carriers. With the help of Billshrink’s handy-dandy charts and infographics, I did a little research and came up with the following. Note that I stuck to national carriers - there are too many regional carriers out there for me to have included in this piece.
