In the world of product companies, showcasing concepts is nothing new. Product companies, especially car companies showcase concepts just to tell the world the kind of technological prowess the company has. In the world of mobile phones, showcasing of concepts is either from the company’s side or from people who are completely smitten by a particular brand of mobile phone and have the power and vision to design a next generation concept phone. A lot of concept phones never commercialize as they are too good to be true. Some are a dream to look at, while some are so weird that you are happy that they remain in the concept stage LOL!! Like this Blackberry Concept phone, which was designed by Danile Yoon and Kiki Tang. The concept looks fine in terms of features and derives its idea from connections, I mean more of a social network. The touch interface looks like that of the Else phone that went bust. If you talk about the shape of this BB concept then i find it atrocious, especially the jagged and pointed edges. Phones should be smooth and have rounded edges, they should feel good in your hands as well as pants, you know what I mean..this one can get a bit uncomfortable once its in your pants. We all know that Nokia has come up with different series of phones over the past couple of years, mainly the N Series, C Series, E Series, X Series. All these series highlight particular features that phone will have like multimedia, business, general purpose and some other shit!! The newest of the series is the X Series, which foucuses purely on multimedia handsets. The X6, when launched became popular thanks to improved touch screen features and multimedia oriented features. The latest in the X series will be the X7-00, this might not be the final name of the phone as information about it leaked recently through a video, which shows the phone running on Vodafone’s network. The X7 is as big as the E7 and has 8MP camera, four speakers, yeah four speakers, LED flash and other stuff. The video shows Need For Speed being played on the X7-00, though I like the resolution and the screen size, i somehow dont like the shape of the phone…not funky enough to turn eye balls. Anyway, u guys enjoy the video, will keep you posted on more new about the X7-00.

Samsung Continnum is the newest Android 2.1 based phone from the Korean giatn currently available in the US on Verizon’s network. The phone boasts of a 1GHz processor, Super AMOLED touch screen at the top and a smaller 1.8 96×480 ticker Super AMOLED display at the bottom for showing alerts and messages without having to use as much battery. Thats a pretty cool feature to have given the fact that most of the smart phones today drain the battery, thanks to their high-end processors and multitasking features. I am sure you guys must have seen tons of fukcing boring videos where experts come and discuss about different mobile OSs that are present today in the market. Every OS has one thing or the other better than the other OS available so technically this debate is never ending and to be frank sometimes can be boring.
