Well, this one came out of left field. AT&T announced today that they’ve entered into an agreement to buy T-Mobile from its owner Deutsche Telekom for around $39 billion in cash and stock. ATT has also committed to deploying LTE to an additional 46.5 million people, including T-Mo’s 34 million customers.
