Hot on the heels of the news that the Motorola DROID 3 has made its way in Verizon’s system, it seems that the Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 has joined the D3 and reappeared in Big Red’s computers. If you’ll remember, a 4G tablet going by the name SCH-I905 actually showed up in Verizon’s systems earlier this month, but back then it wasn’t confirmed exactly which device the I905 would turn out to be. Now we know that it is indeed the Tab 10.1 and the listing still shows that the slate will feature 4G… Read the rest of this entry »

Interested in seeing exactly what NVIDIA’s quad-core Kal-El processor, which the company originally introduced back in February, is really capable of? Look no further than the clip embedded below. The video is a demo called Glowball, which shows off true dynamic lighting and some physics thrown in for good measure, all powered by NVIDIA’s quad-core CPU. As you can see in the clip, everything runs buttery smooth, at least until around the 2:09 mark when two of the processors four cores were… Read the rest of this entry »

Late Friday night, we learned that ASUS is planning to unveil an Android phone/tablet docking combo called the Padfone next week at Computex. As is often the case with unreleased devices, though, the images of the Padfone have leaked out ahead of ASUS’s big event. There’s no word on what kind of specs either device is packing, but… Read the rest of this entry »

Apple and Samsung have been trading blows in court for a little over a month now, with the most recent move coming from Apple last week when the company demanded access to some of Samsung’s unreleased products in order to determine whether or not a early injunction needed to be filed. Last night Samsung made quite possibly the biggest move yet, filing a motion asking to see both the iPhone 5 and the iPad 3. Samsung feels that it should be able to see the next iPhone and iPad because they’ll… Read the rest of this entry »

Aaron gets his hands on Verizon’s Motorola DROID X2 , the successor to the popular DROID X Android phone. Sporting a 1 GHz NVIDIA Tegra 2 dual-core processor, it offers a 4.3-inch qHD display, 8-megapixel shooter, and Android 2.2 with a revamped version of MOTOBLUR.
