It should not come as much of a surprise that one of the main uses of my iPhone is to take pictures and share them. The camera featured on the iPhone 4 is one of the best mobile cameras to date. In addition to an awesome image sensor, Apple’s App Store is home to a vast selection of mobile photography applications.

Heads up, tablet connoisseurs: Amazon just sent out invites for a press conference next Wednesday, September 28th. Get excited, MetroPCS customers, because details on a new LTE smartphone that’s headed your way have hit the web. The handset staring you in the face up there is known as the LG Esteem, a device we first saw waaaaay back in mid-July with the codename LG Bryce. Thankfully, the Esteem’s name isn’t the only new bit of information we have about the phone, as images from LG’s partner portal have also given up most of its spec details:

Heads up, U.S. Cellular customers: after a tease earlier this month, it’s finally been revealed that the Motorola Electrify will be available on the U.S. Cellular website starting at midnight tonight. The Huawei Impulse is a budget-friendly Android smartphone, but it has some features that are usually saved for high-end superphones. It is a 4G devices and uses AT&T ’s HSPA+ network. It also has a camera capable of capturing 720p HD video. So, it’s inexpensive but it has some pretty awesome features. The question is, How does it perform? Since the introduction of iOS in early 2007, the mobile world has never been the same. Google, Apple, Microsoft and a select few others have entered themselves in a race for the best mobile operating system around. In light of bigger, faster, more powerful handsets, the capabilities of mobile software has increased tenfold, along with the idea of how said software should operate.

There have been a lot of questions surrounding AT&T’s proposed acquisition of T-Mobile ever since it was announced, but the one that seems to pop up most frequently is from T-Mobile customers wondering what will happen to their rate plans if the deal is approved. Tablets were reintroduced to the world in a smaller, more streamlined and modern package last year. Since then, the market has been rapidly growing and the devices themselves have quickly become common household items that fit perfectly in the blank space between smartphone and PC. Despite limited functionality, a tablet can serve as an essential business tool , a helpful school companion and the perfect multimedia consumption device. But there is something missing.
